Bernard Youens (1914 - 1984) was a heavyweight British character actor, best remembered for his protrayal of the workshy, beer swilling Stan Ogden in Coronation Street. Despite the character he played, he was (at one time) a velvet voiced continuity announcer for Granada Television.
