International

The word international can mean:

• Between nations or encompassing several nations. See global.

• International Style in architecture.
• The Internationale is a famous Communist song.
• The INTERNATIONAL is a golf tournament on the United States PGA TOUR.
• The International (discontinued April 25, 2004) was a passenger train operating between Toronto and Chicago.
• The International is a snooker tournament.
• International is a 2002 New Order compilation album
• International Harvester, manufacturer of heavy equipment

It is common in the USA to refer to international to mean "outside of the United States". This usage has been noted to be annoying to English speakers of non American origin reading material (commonly websites) written in the USA for a global audience (after all, if the reader is South African, the USA is "international" to them).
