Missouri Valley Conference

The Missouri Valley Conference (also called MVC or simply "The Valley") is a college athletic conference whose members are located in the midwestern United States. The conference participates in the NCAA's Division I.

The MVC has not sponsored football since 1985, but five members have football programs in the Gateway Football Conference of Division I-AA, and a sixth competes in the I-AA Pioneer Football League.

There are ten full members of the Missouri Valley Conference:

• Creighton University
• Drake University
• University of Evansville
• Illinois State University
• Indiana State University
• Missouri State University, formerly Southwest Missouri State University [SMS]
• University of Northern Iowa
• Southern Illinois University [SIU]
• Wichita State University

Five schools are affiliate members in men's soccer only:

• Eastern Illinois University
• Southern Methodist University [SMU]
• University of Tulsa
• Vanderbilt University
• Western Kentucky University

One school is an affiliate member for women's soccer only:

• Drury University
