Sulawesi

Sulawesi (or Celebes) is a large Indonesian island. It is the world's 11th largest island covering an area of 174,600 km².

To the west is Borneo. To the north are the Philippines. To the south is Flores. To the southeast is Timor. To the east are the Moluccas.

Sulawesi contains the following Indonesian provinces:

• Gorontalo
• Sulawesi Barat (West Sulawesi)
• Sulawesi Selatan (South Sulawesi)
• Sulawesi Tengah (Central Sulawesi)
• Sulawesi Tenggara (South East Sulawesi)
• Sulawesi Utara (North Sulawesi)
