Anemone nemorosa
|
The Windflower Anemone nemorosa (also known as Wood Anemone, European Thimbleweed, and "smell fox") is an early-spring flowering plant is the genus Anemone. Its roots, that spread just below the earth surface, grow quickly, contributing to its rapid spread.
The flower does not have a scent, and little honey, since it does not rely very much on pollination by insects for reproduction. It is poisonous to humans, but has been used as a medicine.
